AnJanque Designs was formed by Angela Rayner and Janet Tidy. We have been honing our skills in both the artwork and pottery fields for many years. We both love nature, and in this aspect, Angela’s skills have been developed in the field of ceramics, using hand-building techniques. Janet is particularly drawn to nature-inspired themes, which include animals, and is also an accomplished artist.
Janet is a professional artist in both watercolour and acrylics. She has learned the technique of doodling, which she uses to create colourful, abstract nature-designed artwork. Janet is also adept at forming and painting unusual designs on pottery plaques.
Angela has crafted and mastered hand building techniques using the mainly stoneware and earthenware clays, to create unique designs that also include her expression of nature in utilising her artistic talents she has honed over time.
"To transform everyday spaces into expressions of harmony and balance through unique, handcrafted ceramics and art. Our vision is to create our work with a sincere and truthful manner. We are therefore offering bespoke pieces that inspire, elevate, and connect people to the beauty of nature.
Both of us have undertaken extensive courses in pottery and different art styles over the years to expand our knowledge and skill sets, which has helped us become proficient in our individual styles. Through this experience and practice we have learned to create pieces that we feel promote a sense of harmony and balance for the home and individuals.
To create a business that expresses the holistic quality of nature in it many different forms through our bespoke artistic talents in both the mixed mediums of art and ceramics.
Part of our passion is to provide individual pieces that imbue a sense of harmony and peace to those who choose to invest in our workmanship.
The uniqueness of our work has given us good self-esteem and helped our own personal development. We are both in agreement that our love of nature, its healing properties, is demonstrated in our work and is the cornerstone of our artistic talents. We believe that the harmony and balance evident in nature is shown in our creations.
We consider colour, shape, and form to be important parts of our work processes.
Our team is committed to delivering a unique standard of craftsmanship and customer service. We deliver this to the best of our ability and produce a high and unique quality to all our work.
